The command value module is operated with 24 V direct voltage. A power supply unit [7] supplies the internally required positive and negative supply voltages. As soon as the power supply unit is in operation, the green LED (“power”) lights up. The actuating signal can be connected or switched off with a signal at the enable input (port 3). Without enable signal, the actuating signal is 0 % (referring to the reference potential “GND” of the command value).
An offset that is adjustable by means of potentiometer “Z” is added to the externally specified command value by means of the summing device [2]. This allows for compensation of a zero point deviation on the control side and exact adjustment of the hydraulic zero point. Using the adjustable characteristic curve generator [3], step level and maximum values for positive and negative signals can be set and adjusted to the hydraulic requirements independent of each other.
The potentiometers “S+” and “S–” serve the compensation of the valve overlap; the potentiometers “G+” and “G–” the setting of the maximum flow of the proportional servo valve (see diagram/characteristic curves and commissioning).
The actuating signal has the same reference potential as the command value. The actuating signal is corrected accordingly by means of the summing device [4] in case of fluctuations in the reference potential.
